For Seed Infra, sustainability is about creating assets without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.
Sustainability remains a constant in all of Seed Infra’s projects and initiatives. One of the highest priorities for us during project implementation and planning is safeguarding the environment. Rather than approaching it as an additional activity, we see environmental and social outcomes as equal priority to economic. It allows us to create places where you want to be, places that contribute to communities and valued by all involved.
We have a diverse range of stakeholders, including our clients, suppliers, employees, shareholders, governments, regulators, investors, competitors, as well as the communities in which we operate within the Asia Pacific region. To achieve our sustainability objective, we’re committed to engaging with all of these stakeholders in open, accountable and trusting partnerships, maintaining regular dialogue with them so we can keep on top of emerging issues and stay attuned to their concerns.
In keeping with our sustainability philosophy, we have built in-house expertise to promote clean development projects in developing countries in efforts to reduce emissions and participate in Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects and obtain the registration and issuance of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) from the United Nations Framework Convention Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Along with reducing carbon footprints, we collaborate with our partners and local communities to devise strategies to maintain our environment. That’s why we include powering all our operations with clean energy and eliminating all waste from our business and conserving water. We believe collective restorative approach is essential to long term sustainability initiatives.
